The Role

This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. You, as Accounts Payable Administration Assistant, would report to our highly skilled AMS Finance Operations Manager and work alongside eighteen other friendly AMS Administrator professionals. The whole team works closely together and is also tightly connected with the whole business, our member partners and business partners. This will give you the great opportunity to both bounce ideas off and learn from each other.

 

The overall purpose of your job is to be responsible for the back-office finance administration of a selection of Travel Agents, BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers and account reconciliation. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:


  • Process Supplier Payments
  • BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers
  • Conduct general back-office administration duties
  • Liaise with Travel Suppliers
  • Adhoc Finance duties


To be successful in this role, you would have experience of...

  • Working in Travel (a must-have)
  • GDS & BSP Knowledge (a must-have)
  • Using MS Excel (intermediate level, knowledge of formulas)
  • Building relationships with business partners/suppliers by phone & email
  • Working with Sage or similar accounting product (ideal, but not essential)
  • Work within a Finance Department and be specialised in Accounts Payable
  • Processing bank reconciliations (not essential)
  • Processing large quantities of bank transfers
