Advantage Travel Partnership takes support-first approach to AI with launch of member hub
Advantage Travel Partnership launches AI hub to support members' move from AI uncertainty to practical adoption

Advantage Travel Partnership has launched a new member AI Hub designed to help independent travel businesses adopt and embed artificial intelligence through practical guidance, tools and support. As part of its broader AI enablement strategy, Advantage is taking a long-term approach focused on helping members build the confidence and capability needed to maximise the opportunities presented by rapidly evolving AI technology.
The Hub has been developed against a backdrop of rapidly accelerating AI adoption, as artificial intelligence continues to reshape travel, search, customer behaviour and day-to-day business operations. Its launch follows direct feedback from members seeking clearer guidance on how to maximise the use of AI within their businesses. This was further reinforced at the Advantage Conference, where AI-focused sessions and breakout discussions attracted strong engagement from members keen to better understand how AI can be used safely, responsibly and practically in the workplace.
Rather than focusing on developing a standalone AI tool, Advantage has created a broader AI enablement framework that can evolve alongside the technology itself. With AI platforms, use cases and business needs changing at pace, the partnership believes members will benefit most from practical, flexible and regularly updated support that helps them build confidence, improve understanding and embed AI in ways that are relevant to their own businesses.
The AI Hub has therefore been designed as a long-term resource to support members at every stage of their AI journey, from uncertainty and early experimentation as businesses explore the basics to those looking at more advanced applications and embedded use of AI. The first phase includes introductory guidance, practical prompting support, safe-use and best-practice guardrails, and use-case guides covering core areas of day-to-day travel business operations.
The resources have been designed to support the full breadth of Advantage’s membership, recognising that different travel businesses will have different levels of confidence, resource, technical capability and commercial priorities. The focus is firmly on helping members use AI in ways that are practical, relevant and responsible, rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all solution.
For independent travel businesses, AI presents a significant opportunity to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks, improve productivity, support faster customer communication, strengthen marketing activity and free up teams to focus on higher-value, human-led service. The Hub aims to help members understand where those opportunities sit within their own businesses, while maintaining appropriate human oversight, accuracy, brand control and data protection.
Future phases of Advantage’s AI enablement programme will expand the Hub with additional use cases, practical examples, member case studies, supplier and partner insight, and further guidance to help members move to more embedded and measurable use of AI.
Advantage will continue its work with selected technology and AI partners as part of its wider roadmap to provide members with access to tools, advice and expertise across areas including automation, productivity, marketing, customer experience and data-led decision making, reinforcing its focus on helping members access practical solutions that support business growth, efficiency and resilience.
Paul Nunn, Chief Operating Officer at Advantage Travel Partnership, said:
“AI is moving incredibly quickly, and we were very conscious that creating a single Advantage AI tool was not necessarily the best way to support members over the long term. A tool can date quickly. What members need is confidence, guidance and practical support that can evolve as the technology evolves.
“That is why we have taken a different approach. The AI Hub is about helping members understand how to embed AI safely and effectively into their own businesses, rather than asking them to adopt one fixed solution. It gives them a clear framework they can use with confidence, whatever stage they are at.
“Used in the right way, AI can help remove some of the more repetitive tasks that take time away from teams, improve efficiencies and support better ways of working. This sits alongside our broader technology roadmap and our ongoing commitment to giving members access to the tools, partners and guidance that help them remain competitive.”
David Moon, Member Success Director at Advantage Travel Partnership, said:
“Our members are at different stages of their AI journey. Some are just starting to ask what AI could mean for their business, while others are already testing tools and looking for more structured ways to build AI into their processes.
“The strong engagement we saw at Conference showed just how important this topic has become. Members want clear, easy-to-understand advice that is relevant to the realities of running an independent travel business. The AI Hub has been built with that in mind, giving members a practical starting point to create efficiencies, support their teams and make informed decisions about how AI can help their business grow.
“This is not about a one-off launch. It is about supporting members on an ongoing journey as AI becomes more embedded across travel businesses and customer behaviour continues to change.”
The launch of the AI Hub reflects Advantage’s continued focus on providing members with relevant, practical and commercially useful support in a fast-changing technology landscape.
