Advantage Travel Partnership takes "The World, by Water." on the road for its biggest Cruise Month yet

September 2, 2026

Advantage Travel Partnership is launching its most ambitious Cruise Month to date this month and, for the first time, taking its cruise expertise on the road.

Throughout September, Advantage team members and cruise partners will travel across the UK and Northern Ireland to visit around 100 members in their businesses, bringing inspiration, expertise and practical sales support directly into the member community.

The activity is powered by a refreshed campaign – "The World, by Water." which positions cruising as the modern, exciting and diverse way to see the world. From river, expedition and ocean journeys to food-led escapes, cultural discovery and multigenerational adventures, the message is clear: there's a cruise for every kind of traveller. Campaign messaging also leans into the appeal of waking up somewhere new every day, unpacking once, and travelling at a gentler pace.

The bigger picture is about helping independently owned travel businesses seize the opportunity and inspire existing cruise customers, win over travellers who've never considered cruising, and equip members with the knowledge, content and first-hand experience to turn interest into sales.

Jonny Peat, Director of Cruise, Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We are thrilled to be spearheading our most ambitious Cruise Month yet, with an evolved campaign for our dedicated Latitude Cruise Community that takes our cruise expertise on the road for the first time, engaging members face-to-face and inspiring customers with a fresh, experience-led view of holidays on the water. We truly believe this campaign has everything members need to capture the opportunity in a changing cruise market: inspiring existing cruise customers while opening the category up to travellers who may not yet think cruising is for them."

Ahead of Cruise Month, Advantage has seen unprecedented levels of engagement from members across its various campaigns and promotions, with 239 branches opting into the consumer campaign; and over 20,000 entries – the highest number ever received – submitted for a prize draw to win a 14-night Caribbean cruise with Ambassador Cruise Line, including flights; and 85 members joining the campaign webinar, where cruise partners shared product updates and prizes.

Many other activities have also recently been introduced to support Cruise Month, including:

  • A digital cruise edition of Navigate magazine launches 2 September, reaching around 60,000 customers

  • An exclusive member FAM trip aboard Scenic Eclipse, co-hosted with Scenic, giving agents first-hand experience of small-ship luxury and expedition cruising

  • Exclusive content provided to Advantage's Latitude cruise community connecting members with partners, expertise and commercial opportunities

  • A dedicated intranet hub with downloadable marketing materials, supplier updates, training and a Cruise Month calendar

“The work we have put into Cruise Month this year showcases the scale of expertise, supplier access, marketing support and first-hand opportunities Advantage Travel Partnership offers independently owned travel businesses,” added Peat.
